This is the combo I built for a friend.

The stack consist of a Buffalo II DAC squeezed in between the AMB B22 balanced headphone amp and its power supply. Unfortunately the power button is off center, but a new panel is coming.

This is the innards of the DAC. Buffalo II DAC with the IVY III I/V. TPA dual and bipolar power supplies, USB receiver with a SPDIF mux. Two optical inputs, one SPDIF and one USB. Also in here is the AMB E24/S24 power-on circuit.

The power supply for the B22 amp. It has two TPA power supplies for powering the various switches and also the Joshua Tree attenuator.

The amp contains the Joshua tree attenuator, an OTTO switch that sits underneath the JT controller and a specially designed board that switches between headphones, speakers and preout.

Very nice build. Truly a great example of how to do it.

A little troubled that I see AMB attribution, but no Twisted Pear. :)

The logo placement wasn't up to me, sorry about that. At least the Buffalo ended up on the front ;)

The frontpanels are indeed from Hifi2000, but the milling was done by Schaeffer. I would not recommend letting hifi2000 do any custom work as all my efforts have resulted in failure, usually due to language problems. Schaeffer messes up quite a bit too, but they will usually fix it.

Like Brian said they are from Neutrik. I got them from Canford in the UK.
