Hi, I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to DIY audio so I might be doing something stupid here... Following the instructions I had no problem adjusting VR1,2,3 and 4 to the correct Ohms, I connected the power supply and had 4 LEDs light up and everything seems to check out fine. However I cannot get the voltage to increase or even decrease when I adjust VR3 and VR4, one output reads 1.6V and the other 1.3V but it does change when I adjust VR1 and VR2 for some reason. I'd appreciate any help :) Edited by user Wednesday, April 6, 2011 12:19:23 PM(UTC)

I'd appreciate any help :) I'm also fairly new to all this but had pretty much the same symptoms as you with the placid (I think the BP is more-or-less two placids on one board) and it turned out I'd soldered in one of the transistors backwards. so that might be checking - QP2 specifically.

I would triple-check that all the transistors are in the proper spots
