Dual mono VRMS + Dual mono -> Joshua Tree, buffer needed?

Hello there, some questions...
If I've understood this correctly the Opus has a maximum output of 2 VRMS, but is this per channel or total for the chip? Will balanced output in dual mono mode output 2 or 4 VRMS?
Secondly:
The Opus can supposedly with bypassed lowpass capacitors drive a Joshua Tree without a buffer, is this also true if the Opus is run in dual mono or would a buffer then be needed?
A little footnote, what eventually I'm planning to is a DAC to use with a subwoofer to handle 20-35 hz. If this DAC module is unsuited for this ( or less suited than another of your DAC kits ) me would be happy to know =)
Thanks in advance Olle
