Hello Russ/Brian,

I received my second Buf II which came without a firmware controller chip.
I already have Buf II which is working perfectly (with firmware controller chip) with SPDIF & DSD input signals. I plan to configure the DACs on dual mono configuration but before I do that, I have been testing the new Buff II (without the firmware controller chip) and it doesn’t work properly. I have swap the chip between my good working DAC to the new one and it works just fine.

I have sent emails but I have not received a reply. Can you get back to me, I have been waiting for a good working DAC for some time now.
