If I am using a computer as a transport and DAC as a source, and the sound card and spdif transceiver doesn't seem to use a pulse transformer, would I benefit from a cleaner signal using a pulse transformer?
I see that its used in your SPDIF 4:1 Receiver/MUX and not in the SPDIF Transceiver.
Would it be good to use a Newava S22083 pulse transformer at the spdif transceiver's spdif input or sound card's coaxial digital output or use two pulse transformers at both ends?

Has anyone tried your SPDIF Transceiver or SPDIF 4:1 Receiver/MUX with and without the pulse transformer and can give some feedback to me on the sound differences for the better or worse? Edited by user Sunday, February 20, 2011 8:14:38 AM(UTC)

Please excuse the time lapse but I would definitely use a pulse transformer.
See thread PCM IN/SPDIF OUT Transceiver configuration
