I have a second hand opus+metronome. I need to get an output stage and a volumite. However now the buff II will be back in stock soon. So which would be better for a SE setup if i was considering the opampless ventus for the output stage? I think its a 2kohm load so its kinda inbetween a passive iv converter and the heaviest load the wolf 8741 can take.

PS any info on how to wire the volumite for the opus with the metronome? I think i have to switch one thing to get it to use the new upsampling rate.

The cost will not be very much to finish up your Opus.

You could easily drive the Ventus directly from the Opus. In fact that's really of the intended applications. I would give that a shot first. It will sound excellent.

We need to get a manual up for the volumite. Thanks for the reminder. I can't remember offhand what to set, but its pretty simple.

This way you will have something to compare the Buffalo II with later. :)
