Any chance of any help on what the switch settings are when running in dual mono with volumite control?

In the vain hope of getting a reply or am I just talking to myself here?

I think that all the switches except I2S can be set to open.

The I2S pin sets the 2 wire address. Is this set the same for both DACs or different for the left and right DAC.

This is not something the manufacturer's datasheet can help with, it depends on how the firmware in the Volumite is coded.

Any chance of a reply to this one?

Sorry, just missed your question.

this should help:

#define ADDRESS_LEFT 52
#define ADDRESS_RIGHT 54

So yes you do have to set the address switch accordingly.

I believe the rest of the switches can be open. I will double check. (Its been a while since I used this setup)

Interesting as the WM8741 datasheet defines the two available addresses as:

26 - 11010
27 - 11011

However I get the gist here; one board one address, other board the other address. A test signal will confirm which is left and right.

OK now shift those bits one to the left to account for the read/write bit and you get.... ;)
