Russ or Brian,
Do you still have any original Buffalo DACS available? I would like to have a tubed output analog section and from what I understand, the Buffalo II doesn't allow this. If I am incorrect in this please let me know. If I am correct, please let me know if you have any original Buffalo DACs available. Thank you for your time and help.

There are no original Buffalos available, but you are incorrect... the BuffaloII allows you to add any output stage you want.

Brian,
Is the DAC signal raw or does it go through the Opamps before being output from the board? Or, can you take the signal before the opamps to run it to tube analog? From what I have read, the disadvantage of the Buffalo II was that you could not take the raw DAC signal and output to the tube stage. The original Buffalo, you could. Is this not correct? Thanks again Brian for your help.

The Buffalo32s had in integrated I/V stage. The Buffalo II exposed the DAC outputs directly.

Excellent. Thank you Brian. I was obviously confusing the Buffalo 32s and the Buffalo II. Now, I just need to be able to order it. I will be looking forward to that day. Great products and support! Greg Edited by user Saturday, November 6, 2010 3:23:41 PM(UTC)
