While doing verification to the R1 resistor the D1 Led dimmed , upon checking the R1 resistor again to see why it dimmed the Led went dead .,

I checked the R1 resistor i get no more reading , , i changed the trimpot cause it gave sporadic readings ,
reconnected everything and did not take long getting sporadic readings again from trim pot , don't know where to turn at this point , total confusion , any help would be appreciated ,

regards

The measured output on the faulty side of Placid BP is only showing -.651 Volts .If i want all my Led's to work on this faulty side is to crank up the VR1 Trimpot , but all this does is cause confusion on the channel that is working , go figure . , more pertinent info as i continue checking things out .

Seems like a short has occurred when checking R1 to verify stability of the voltage ., cause every time i touched R1 , the C1 would dim , telling tale ! now she dims no more but i know she still lights up if i push one or the other Trimpot to the max .

regards ,

Answering to my own above post , i had mistakenly said that the burned led had the C1 designation letters , my mistake it should have said the D6 Led .

The reason the D6 Led burned was due to my poking at the R1 resistor with the multimeter rods , i inadvertly removed paint from the PCB and and exposed the ground plane d'oh! , thus creating a short .

Changed the burned D6 Led and all is ready for readjustments .
