The Buffalo II Manual states to use switch 4 set to "ON" for PCM, and "OFF" (50 K) for DSD sources. Does this mean that the filter will always be at 20 K when the switch is set to "ON", or does the ESS chip adjust the filter choice according to the incoming PCM data rate? I do not want to use a 20 K filter with 24/96, 24/176.4, or 24/192 PCM.
Additionally, does your NDA with ESS allow you to publish response curves for the slow and fast digital filter choices, or is this information available anywhere from ESS?
Thanks
