Hey guys,
does anyone have any idea how much current the reset pin will sink when shorted to 3V3? I'm trying to pick a transistor to perform reset duty.
Cheers.

Almost nothing, but to be safe you could put something like 1K in series, and it should still work splendidly.
Here is the question though, why reset? It I have never found it necessary.

I'm sharing the I2S signals so want to hold the DAC in reset until I'm streaming audio.
Thanks for the advice.

Why not just put it in mute status?

Hey Russ, sorry, I missed this reply. You guys don't have email notification of replies on this forum do you?
That would work but I don't have access to I2C at this point in time either. Cheers for the suggestion.
