Those combos are possible:

1) Buffalo II an Ballsie, "voltage output" of the Buffalo, but worse THD.

2) Buffalo II and IVY, better THD, using either balanced or Single ended outputs to an amp/preamp.

3) Buffalo II + Ivy + Ballsie: Single ended output to an amp/preamp with theoretically more dynamics.

If 3) is correct, can IVY and Ballsie be powered from a single BP Placid, still being driven by two 15V/15VA transformers?

What are the differences of single ended IVY compared to SE Ballsie, especially according to
output impedances? (My amp has 150mV / 20kohms input impedance, single ended)

Maybe it is time for a FAQ, for people like me, who have soldering skills but only
a basic understanding on how DACS and Conversion and output stages work...

the "Lampizator" Lukasz Fikus put me on a wrong track with ranting about
"built in output stages" on the Buffalo II, that´s why I ordered a Ballsie, not an IVY.
Sent you a mail 3 hours ago to change the order status, swap Ballsie against IVY3,
did you get it?
