I purchased a Buffalo II module and a Volumite controller to use with the Buffalo II.
Cutting to the chase ...
I seem to have "misplaced" the firmware IC that came with the Buffalo II module.
I also seem to have "misplaced" the firmware IC that came with the Volumite controller.
I know I can purchase a replacement firmware IC for the Volumite controller, but can a replacement firmware IC for the Buffalo II module be purchased as well? (Sometimes I need to use Buffalo II without Volumite.)
Hope my question is clearly stated.
And thanks again for Buffalo II ... truly, it is an exceptional DAC.

They are not interchangeable.
