Hi Russ and Brian, If I want to increase the gain of my BII/IVYIII in dual mono configuration (lets say to 8VRMS) where do I (best) do this? R13-R16 on IVYIII or on the Ballsie section or both? As far as I understand setting R13-R16 on the IVYIII's to 356R result in 8VRMS (in dual mono config.) Will this be sound in terms of DNR and THD+N? In terms of component safety? I recall you writing somewhere that the gain of the balanced and single ended output from IVYIII can be set separately. Which resistors in the Ballsie section are used for adjusting SE gain and using which values? I cannot seem to find this info anywhere. I was thinking that for a dual mono configuration maybe it would be a good idea to increase the gain at bit at both locations to arrive at the desired target Thanks, Nic

My first choice would be to increase R13-16 as you said.
If you want though you could halve the value of R17-20.
Cheers! Russ
