Non BP: I initially installed the LED's in backwards and powered up. I noticed the LED's weren't lit, double checked the polarity, reinstalled. Turned it on again, but still not lit. I have the VR's setup per the manual. I get no voltage at the output. Did I toast the LED's? There's no other indication of blown parts.
BP: On the VR4 side, D5 doesn't light up. It's installed correctly. I think I may have blown one or more of the VR's as a couple of them appear shorted out. I had no idea they were so sensitive as I've never had a problem with any before. Sounds like others have had problems though so I suppose that could be a culprit?
Besides LED's and VR's should I be looking at anything else that might be bad? The QN/QPs perhaps? Or the opamaps?

Make sure you have not swapped transistors.
The LEDs could indeed be dead.
Measure the voltage across them.
