After few months of collecting parts, I finally managed to put everything into one piece :) few features: - 3 separate Hi-Fi grade transformers (fully shielded and encapsulated) - pure silver wire used for electric connections - Delund pure silver wire in silk/oil used for signal connections - CMC-805-2.5-AG silver plated RCA sockets - all joints made with Mundorf 9.5% silver solder - 2.99GBP plastic box used for a case Edited by user Friday, March 19, 2010 3:29:00 PM(UTC)

I would be careful about static. It will kill the DAC...

Brian:
You mean that rubbing/moving the plastic case may cause the static charge to gather on the case surface and then it may cause a spark between the case and the closest element of DAC? May I prevent this somehow?
Russ:
Thank you :) But also thank YOU guys for great DAC :)

Static probably won't be a problem once all is in place, but it would be wise to connect the case to GND/Earth somehow.
Its just something to be aware of.
As long as you are grounded when touching the DAC and any of it's inputs things should be ok. Just be careful.
Some types of plastic are more prone to static charge than others.
Cheers! Russ
