Will Counterpoint be suitable for current-output dac's, like AD1865/PCM63/PCM1702/PCM1704/...
The manual & circuit description is missing.

Counterpoint was only made in small batches for enthusiasts. It was not really intended for mass production. Counterpoint 2 will some day be released.
Perhaps you mean Legato? I think you could make legato work with most of those.

Sure it was meant to be used for the Buffalo DAC. I don't really have much interest in the others.
But just because I am a benevolent designer I will try to help you. But your success or failure is completely your own.
I have no idea which version of the circuit you have. I made several. But in any case you simple need to adjust the input bias to zero volts and set the two I/V resistors(usually RG1 and RG2) to match the output you want based on the current output of your particular DAC (I don't know what it is and I don't have time to check)
This is DIY, do a little research and you will be just fine.

Why are you insulted, when no insult was meant? I pointed you in the right direction and then let you know that the rest would be up to you. This is DIY. Thanks, I guess I made that storm in the waterglass all by myself.
Just sometimes, (too often) I react when you act/answer as all DIY'ers were engineers or have a higher degree in electronics.
(Not only to me). -as a trained technician, I can read datasheets, but I do not always understand a complex circuit (with NO description).

Its ok, I can understand how you might get that impression. I only meant to help.
One thing to keep in mind. When I designed counterpoint (the early version) I did not realize that I did not compensate the CFP pairs enough. So if I were you I would set the CFP resistors to 392R and put 1-2.2nf film caps across each of them. This will make the circuit much more stable and improve it.
