I just soldered up a Placid 2.0.1 and have 2 questions

1. R6 and R7 in my kit were both 2kohms. According to the BOM and schematic, R2 = 6k and R1 = 1k. Which is correct?
2. Just making sure--but it's not that R1,R2 are optional, it's that they are simply placeholders for measuring VR1, VR2...right? It's not like they were in the kit and I missed them.

2K and 2K are the correct values. We have tweaked them over time. Same performance, just changes the range and accuracy of the trimmer.

R1 and R2 are optional. We do not include them in the kit because the value is not fixed. The idea is, after adjusting the pots for the operational levels you want, you can measure the pot values, then replace them with fixed Rs if you want.
