Hi! This is my first post… I have a BII with tube output stage, differential 6N6P with Sowter 8650. Sowter 8650Great sound! But I would like to use the BII in current mode, so I think to use a Sowter 3575 before tube stage. Sowter 3575What do you think about this? Current modeIn this mode BII works in current mode? R value? Thanks to all!!

The Sowter 3575 has a high-impedance (6k4) primary, so you will not get the Buffalo operating in current mode with it when fed directly. Edited by user Tuesday, February 8, 2011 6:59:35 AM(UTC)

Will I achieve current mode with a trannie with input impedence of 1.5R?
Thank you in advance for the clarification.

Well 1.5R makes it seem more like a current source than with a higher impedance. :)
The only rule is this: The lower the impedance the less the voltage at the DAC outputs changes. That is the best case. You want it as close to zero as practical.
