Dear Russ I've assembled the Placid 2,0,1 board. First regulation without power was succesful for VR1 where i easily put 100ohm, but VR2 measure 10Kohm and it does't change if i turn the screw to any direction. Is it normal, can I plug power?

regards
gianluca

I'm not Russ but I dare replying.

No, it's not a normal situation. You need VR2 to set the output voltage.

You have to get VR2 to change along with turn. Are you measuring at the pads labeled R2?

Yuppy!! it was just a bad soldering of VR2. Anyway thanks AVR300 for your reply I know you are a precious resource of this forum. I am an absolute beginners and tend to go panic easily. Rendez vous to the next stupid question.
