A wireless transport from the computer to the DAC. That is, like an Apple Airport Epress, but without the router bits and a decent audio circuitry.
Portable battery powered amp for the iPod/Cowon music players for on-the-go audio bliss

Same wish, only if a multi-channel xmos usb solution is too much work, then my second choice is for an eight channel aes to spdif conversion board with DB25 input connector so I can easily wire up to a lynx aes16e card (or RME equivalent). Then I can put together my own eight channel dac using 4 or even 8 mono buffalo boards (cha-ching! )

1. The snow to clear enough so that the planes can fly our orders to us more quickly! 2. Russ & Brian & their families so happy that they keep doing this for another year or more. 3. More time to listen to music. 4. A DAC-brewery interface to use the Placids' excess heat to help brew beer or stout.

Happy New Year!
My top desires from TPA are:
1. The forthcoming asynchronous USB receiver.
2. Additional digital filter choices for the B-II, and a way to switch them via a panel mounted button. Perhaps an "apodizing' style filter could be one additional option.
3. A simple display option for the B-II, with the ability to show incoming sample rate, attenuation level, and filter selection (see 2 above).

I.e. not an audio "controller" (like AC2) but an audio "monitor" (AM1....). I would vote for the display showing only attenuation level, signal type (SPDIF/I2S/DSD) and sample rate. I'm sure this must be very simple and pose no problems of code distribution. Nic

AC2 - with the ability to control 3 buffalo dac's with individual gain pre set / offset storable for each dac so the drive levels can be set and stored for a 3 way active system.

Would be nice to have proper test points for voltages on Placids. Too easy to slip with probes & risk hurting something.

How about a TPA moving coil phono stage? Just kidding....well perhaps not. Edited by user Monday, January 10, 2011 10:45:16 PM(UTC)

Definitely a Darwin/OTTO/MUX style selector - that'll work with Femto and stuff when they're released!
Oh,and a Buffalo III... Because I'm stuck with my 32S and, since it replaced a Buffalo24, I've promised myself I'll sit one generation of Buffalo out!! :D

AC2 or the like: Remote Control of at least Volume and Screen for volume/bit rate display etc. Otherwise I'm into a new box and try and get a HIFIDUINO working ;-)
USB with higher rates would be very nice too.

That would be great! When I have 20K to spend, I will think about it. :)
