i just finished a buffalo 2 and i can here no sound.

the lock led is not constantly light up but it is dimming.

i thought that the comparator might have a problem and i

connencted the toshlink and d1 to see if it will work.

the samem problem.

any ideas?

Check your supply. Measured at input, do you have the 5.5v ?

i could but i am pretty sure i don`t do something wrong.
i have build 7 buffalos since the first one came out.
i think i should sent it back to you to check it.

yes brian i checked and with the dac running.
no voltage drop.
the output is from a musiland 01 usd and it works fine with another buffalo i have here.

If it is playing music file than it is probably just a bad LED. Do you have another one you could try?

i already wrote that there is no sound.
and when i stop the music or even disconnect the input the mute led doesn`t light up.
just the lock led turns off.

at the pictures i connected the input directly to make sure the input selector is not the problem.

Hi Back,

Did you double check the led's orientation? It is a bit fuzzy on the picture but it seems to be in wrong orientation!
