You should be OK with the EVO, my Buff II is fed from an EVO as well and works at 24/192. I did have issues when I was initially building it and just used a Hiface and a very poor wire and non 50ohm RCA's to connect. I am now using a proper BNC Coax connection.

There's no need to mess with Quicktime. OS X can resample any and all audio for you. Fire up 'Audio MIDI Setup', choose your device, and set whatever bit depth and sample rate you please.

I run the HiFace USB off a Mac into my BII. Belden coax from Blue Jeans carries the SPDIF. Works beautifully!

And this happens if you play 44.1K material and 192K material?

all's fine with 44.1K, 48K, and 96K, but 192K has a little harsh noise.

I think glt was asking if 44.1 material upsampled to 192 is okay, or if it's just a problem with native 192.

No trouble - free downloads here and here:

http://www.linnrecords.c...downloads-testfiles.aspx

Not all of these are 192, but many are. Good luck, eaoyama.

Yes, playing musics in itunes or ayrewave it's the same, but in itunes i must select the sample rate to 192K, the ayrewave do that automaticaly.

How this can be resolved?
