These are the data sheets I have File Attachment(s): BS250KL.pdf (90kb) downloaded 37 time(s). BS250.pdf (57kb) downloaded 33 time(s). ZVP2106A.pdf (54kb) downloaded 36 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

Yes, identical to the once I have. I have a BS250P here, 100% identical to the ZVP2106A regarding the pin layout.
Anyway, I'm ordering a bunch of each, 250P and 2106A - and I'll see (or hear).

I see Legato kits are available again. Does anyone know, are these the last of the original or are these rev 2 but just not indicated as such on the board?

Russ, Now that Legato 2 has been finalised/ready to be realised, I was wondering if there was any change in component or values to the schematic you posted earlier in this thread. Thanks Russ White wrote:Here you go.
All of the P-channel FETs are BS250
R1-4 and R9-16 are 1W types though 1/2W should be fine.
The rest of the Rs are 1/4W.
keep in mind, while I trust these values, they are subject to change in the final release.
If you use PNP bipolar only use one pair per side, not 3 pair.

Yes the BOM should be the same. :)

Hi Russ,
I am building up a Legato V. 2.0.0, and see that you have doubled up the bottom half resistors (R9-16). I have been using true 1 watt rated parts (PRP 180R top, and 390R bottom) with no problem with the Legato V. 1.0. I would like to be able to get away with running just 4 bottom half resistors with these same parts (I have them already, and would like to use them). Does the Legato V 2.0 actually need to run the additional resistors, or can I use the same setup I did with the Legato 1.0?

Sure you can use singles instead pairs if you like as long as keep the resistors within their rating you should be fine.

Hi Russ,
I have just received my Legato 2.0 version and was wondering how to rise the output to 2.0v (aprox.). The resistors in this version have different values from the previous one and I cannot figure out the right values to modify the output.
I would appreciate very much any advice on this direction, thank you
best regards, Pepe

Just use 187R instead of the 150R. Use at least .5W 1W is better.

Hi Russ,
I have just received my Legato 2.0 version and i have some questions: I intend to use 2 power supplies for the legato, so is it neccesary to use j1-j2-j3-j4? Also i'll use transformers for balanced to single ended conversion. Can you suggest me please what components i must omit about this, because ther is not a manual about v2.0 yet? Thank you!

I upload the edited silkscreen photo. Red lines is for estimated components to omit. Please verify if it is correct. Also, is it o.k. if i'll bypass the j1-j2-j3-j4?

Your image looks fine, but you have R4 and R15 values transposed.
Yes you would omit the jumpers and the other components you have marked out.
I will get the updated manual up soon. I just got home from a long trip.

Does any one know, are the value of coupling caps, C5-C6-C7-C8 critical? I am thinking to replace them with some tin foil. Any preffered value?

I think they will affect low frequency extension, as I believe they act as hi-pass filters the values should probably not be smaller(in µF), as the hipass will be raised best Leif Norway

If you are omitting the BAL/SE stage then to find the corner of the high pass you simply use an R/C filter calculator plugging in the impedance of the next stage and the value of the caps you want to try.

The lundahll LL1592 datasheet refers that the Static resistance of each primary is 270R. Any opinion?

Need to know both the static and dynamic impedance.

The input impedance measured approximately 37k at 1kHz, with the four DC winding resistances quite closely matched, between 276Ω and 281Ω.
