After enjoying building a Buffalo 32 and a Buffalo II, I am thinking about putting together an integrated DAC/Amplifier with the upcoming USB transport, Buffalo II, Legato, and Sympatico for my wife.

From the threads below I assume this would be a fitting case from the perspective of size and heatsinks?

I would mount each channel to one side and put the DAC part in the middle of the box
What other cases around $150 could you recommend for an integrated box?

Cheers

I can't tell the dimensions of the case from the picture, but I would think you should be able to get everything in there. It may be a squeeze. Also depends if you go with two transformers as you would then need double the space for them, then you may have trouble getting the Buffalo in there as well. Here is some pics of my Sympatico.

Thanks, that looks good. Where did you source the case and the heatsink?

You can click on the picture in the original mail and it will take you to the web site.

Since the heatsinks are on the outside there should be plenty of space in the case.

Cheers
