Hello!
I plan to order the following kits: Buff2, placid, placid bp, legato. Is it necessary to change ANY jumpers or anything else to make them work well together in single ended mode? If something need to be changed from default, can I order them that way? I could consider paying extra fee even ..
Thanks in a., G

By default, the Placids and Legato are unassembled kits, so that will need to be changed. ;-) As far as switch settings, nothing should require any changes. Edited by user Monday, November 15, 2010 5:27:56 AM(UTC)

As far as switch settings, nothing should require any changes. I can see the possibility of me soldering a placid or placid bp together, but the Legato seems way to complex for me putting one together. You guys don't sell these assembled?

Honestly, they are all pretty simple to assemble. The Legato is certainly no harder than the Placid, maybe even less so as there is less to adjust.

You are probably right :) I checked the pics and layouts more carefuly and I think I could do it. Are the "Precision Low-noise Bipolar Op Amps" on the Placid BP presoldered on the board (like it's the case with the IVY3 opamps)? Apart from those I think I can solder resistors and capacitors with ease.. Sorry for the bothersome questions, this is going be my first step into DIY and I'm alrdy excited about it. DIYbug ftw!

Yes, with the complete kit I pre-solder the opamps to make life easier.
I am sorry to hear of your recent affliction :)
