I put the power supply in a separate box. The DAC includes the Buff 32, MUX, Ballsie Lite, and Volume lite. I made the chassis out of a couple of pieces of stock alum welded together. The wood box is made from laminated 3/4 inch paduak separated by 1/16 white pine veneer. Ingraving done by "A Touch Of Wood" The lock LED from the MUX is in the stem of the pear, and the brass ball feet are lamp parts I got from a web search.
Now when the tweakers version comes out I get to start all over again and build a new one with tube output.

Nice project!

The only caution I have is that it is always best to keep DC supply routes short. But, I am glad to see you have had good success! :)

I Love the wood and the twisted pear. Very nice touch, and the LED at the top is nice.

Cheers!
Russ

Thanks
I actually did some modification to the case when I installed the Legato. I used a 2 inch forsner bit and drilled 3 holes on each side and some on the bottom or cooling. I like the look.
