The Volumite onboard LDO is powered by a 5v reg, SCL&SLA lines are wired to the BufII, and the controller chip has been removed from the BufII as instructed. The Buffalo II sings (quite beautifully  ), so I know it's not the DAC's problem. I've checked and measured the connections, and everything seems fine (except that the Volumite doesn't work). Is there anything I might have missed?  Should I try powering the Volumite with BufII's DVCC instead? Please help! Edited by user Friday, September 24, 2010 6:34:04 AM(UTC)

Hi Russ,
Yes I did, both VD and GND were connected to the 5v reg (Volumite currently disconnected).

I mean is there a GND connected between the volumite and the buffalo?
