I got an Opus/USB/LDCPS for Xmas and I'm eager to get it up and running, but I don't have a transformer to use the LCDPS just yet. I have a pretty beefy single-output bench PSU that can do voltage or current limitation, what's the best way to use it to power up the Opus to test/fiddle before I get a proper transformer?

A bench supply should work just fine. :) Just keep it beetwen 6 and 12V.

Just connect all of the power supplies to the same supply observing polarity. All of the opus modules beside the ballsie have on board regulators, and can easily be fed from a single supply.

Cheers!
