What does I/V stand for, as in I/V stage,
what does it do,
why would you use it?
What does DNR stand for

I/V stands for Current(I) to Voltage(V) conversion. As to what it does and why you would use please do a little googling, as the subject is large.
DNR is a contraction for Dynamic Range.
