Is it possible to run the JT on DC power in, as opposed to AC in?

Yes. You will need to limit the DC voltage to less than 35V (LM7805 limit), but something closer to 5-12V would be better so the heatsink doesn't get too hot.

Ooh!!! Can I take the 30V+ and GND from my sigma 22 powering my beta 22 boards to feed the joshua tree attenuator? Does it matter if the 30V+ goes to AC1 or AC2? Would it draw enough current that it would alter the performance of the beta? Alternatively, could I just wire up a 9V battery with a on/off switch? I tried 30v+ and GND feeding AC1 and AC2 on the joshua tree board but I'm not sure it's working. Shouldn't I hear the relays clicking when I turn the knob?
