Hi Sim, I have recently ordered and received a Placid power supply and the ordering and speed of delivery could not have been better. You just pay whatever the dollar exchange rate is plus the shipping and it's job done - Nothing more to pay. However, the Placid is not expensive, I'm not sure what will happen on (much) more expensive items - I think there is a break point, but it's still a bit of a lottery as to whether Customs pick on your package.
