I have a WM8805-based sound card (wired in h/w mode) with 256fs I2S output. Can I use it with the Buf Dac?

It is an old card done by an engineer of TeraDak.

I think the recent offering is the TeraLink-X2 (also with I2S but using a different chip), there are quite a few discussions on it in the Diyaudio. I heard that the Hiface might be a better USB converter, but it requires a mod to get I2S and comes with a higher price tag.
