Hello, I've just ordered a volumite for my buffalo and i'm a little affraid to remove my preamplifier to directly connect the ivy to my amplifier. I've got a powerful amplifier and i would be sure that the buffalo could'nt never loose the control and send full signal to the ivy and finaly to the amplifier. It would result as the breakage of my loudspeakers . My amplifier has a low input impedance (5k). Is ivy able to drive it correctly? Thanks for the answers.

Yes, it is safe. Quote:My amplifier has a low input impedance (5k). Is ivy able to drive it correctly? The IVY can drive 16-ohm headphones directly. The 5K load is no problem at all.

Ok, I reassured What are the differences between the controlers you propose? The joshua is a sort of passive preamp and is between the ivy and the amp? The AC1?
