I've just finished my Dual mono Opus DAC. It's absolutely stunning!!!
I am using a single Placid BP to power two IVY II boards. Is it recommended to remove any capacitors on the IVYs since the placid does not like capacitive loads. If so, which ones?

Thanks, Daniel

You should be fine leaving the 100uF caps on the IVY with the Placid.

We recommend leaving the large caps on the Ventus off (1000uF), but even those would not cause a problem, just less than optimum performance of the Placid.

Thank you!

One more question. What would you recommend?

1. Two Placids each feeding VA on the Dual mono Opus and a LCDPS feeding VD.
2. One Placid feeding VA on both Opus and the other Placid feeding the both VD.
3. Does not matter.

Thanks,
Daniel
