Hello,

I just recently acquired a Buffalo 32s dac and assembled LCDPS & LCBPS. I also purchase the power transformers you offer on your site for the power supplies.

I know this should be really simple since the work has already been done but I am new to a lot of this stuff.

Can someone point me to some existing threads that have detailed photos showing the wiring and connections for the LCDPS & LSBPS as well as the power transformers?

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I can't wait to hear it soon.

I have spent quite several hours looking but there are a lot of posts and I haven't had a great deal of luck.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thank you very much for the helpful replies.

I hope I do not wear out my welcome but this had led me to a new question that I hope I can get some help with.

I connected everything according to the diagram and manual.

I tested the power supplies prior to connecting the Buffalo dac board and everything was perfect there.

I am sending SPDIF from a spare DVD player (set to standard PCM out) to the Buffalo until I decide on what device to use for computer audio.

I connected the led lights and only the mute has lit up. I have not been able to get the lock to light up.

I can't figure out what could be wrong. I have all the dip switches set to + and the spdif dip to on.

It will not recognize the spdif signal from two different dvd players spdif/coax out.

I checked and rechecked all my connections but I feel like I must be missing something.

It is frustrating because I feel like I am so close to hearing the Buffalo play some music.

Please let me know if you can think of anything I may have missed or how to start troubleshooting the problem.

I was lucky to have a friend ask me about the SPDIF input and ground connection. I made an error on the SPDIF input ground. I corrected the ground position and it locked the signal instantly. Now it is too late to listen.

The awesome news is I am hearing music from the Buffalo now. Thanks to everyone for their support. I really appreciate it.
