I understand the balanced outputs of the Buffalo32s can drive a pair of headphones very effective.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but can the it drive two sets of headphones directly?

If not, how would I go about getting another output? Are there any diy headphone amps that have good synergy with the buffalo?

Hi Its not a dumb question. I have just been very busy. :)

I depends on the impedance of the Headphones. But you can probably drive two pair 100-600ohm cans effectively from the DAC directly. :)

If you need more juice then that and good balanced heaphone amplifier would work fine. IVY would work quite well.

While SE out, Ventus is an excellent choice as it has balanced input and lots of current drive for low impedance cans.

I would use either one or two placid BPs.

I would adjust a single placid BP to about 250ma and +/-15V. If you use two set them each for about 150ma +/-15V.
