Hi Russ, I hope you Can help, I stupidly installed QP2 the wrong way round, when power was applied the LED’s flashed on momentarily, then nothing. Having noticed my error I replaced QP2 temporally with an approximate equivalent (BC327 all I have at the moment) but no joy, still dead. Can you suggest what other components may have been damaged by my error.
d'oh!
Many thanks
Steve Preston

Ok I can answer myself now, replaced qp2 with correct part, still no go, discovered 1 led reversed, after going and buying some stronger reading glasses I corrected this and all is working! I had to short R6/R15 reach 250ma but both placid's are now fitted and working.
This evening Patricia Barber seems to have opened a small jazz club at the other end of my listening room..........I'm sure it wasn't there three days ago!
Thanks for making some fantastic kit available to all of us.....I must get back to the club now, she's waiting to sing "inch worm"
