I would like to use one of the Low Current Bipolar Power Supply (LCBPS) units to power a DRV134 chip. I have calculated all the power consumption of this chip and it will be <22mA max current. I would like to avoid buying yet another auxiliary transformer. I have dual center-tapped 28–0-28 secondaries to work with. I could use one per leg of the power supply if needed. What is the best configuration given my situation? I assume it can handle the power. ...I had not seen the Placid BP until now. I have read shunt PS's are the best for low noise but how does this compare to the LCBPS given its use at pre-amp signal levels? Can it handle 28Vac input @ 22mA? I can live it with being warm, just dont want to expect to replace things after a short period of time. Edited by user Friday, October 23, 2009 10:03:19 AM(UTC)
