The pictures are dreadfull at the moment and will be changed. Also I will add to the blog more details when I find some time, to assist others with code fragments etc. As a recap this is a build meant as a balanced pre/dac with processor pass-through for my theater pre, with: fully I2C controlled buffalo24 , IVY, OTTO (for theater pass through), defeatable and programmable (in the future) via header Metronome, large LCD, Rotary encoder, SPDIF MUX and Sony Remote control (using parts of glt's code along mine) I guess the customisation will never end... You are welcome. Very nice project. How are you using Metronome?

Hi glt, I included the metronome just to provide a choice of upsamplers if need be. I need to point out that initially it was to be a triple dac cod + opus + buffalo. Because of time constraints I only implemented the buffalo part so far. The metro is controlled by the controller for the bypass function through an ADG3304 digital isolator (icoupler) that also performs the 5v to 3.3v translation. The rest of the metro control header may be used in the future (for now dip switched as usual). When metro is enabled the buffalo upsampling is disabled and the oposite. When i find some time I will include the code, you will recognise some/many fragments of your code but since it is targetted for ESS9008 + 4-bit LCD it contains many changes. One of the reason I went for a seeeduino mega is the multitude of the ports that in essence enables me to control the full set of headers of all the modules employed when complete. Thanks again for the arduino introduction, it was a worthwhile contribution. Cheers, Abraham Edited by user Friday, November 6, 2009 12:04:17 AM(UTC)
