hi can i use the 32s with ivy only for headphones?

how should i configure them?

The Buffalo32s has a more advanced version of the IVY (IVY II) built in. It can easily power and headphones directly from the DAC outputs.

even if they are not balanced?

because i heard some people complain about low volume.

ground and hot+ is ok?

Yes. You can actually decrease the gain of the output by adding resistors to get the output level you desire. The optional resistors are through-hole, so there is no need to do any SMD work.

actually i heard complains about low volume not high.

Sorry, I have a head cold and my brain is working at 25%.

If you remove R22/23 and R36/37, you can add through-hole resistors to increase the gain.
