1. the PSU power input of JT has 2 pins.
I wonder why do you offer a transformer with 2 secondaries for JT?
in the JT kit info you use plural too:
> You will need to provide a transformer with 9-15V secondaries
I bought a toroid with 2 * 12V secondaries, but should I just take one of these?
2. question concerning the power supply for Darwin from JT; in the Darwin kit desc you write:
> A 5V supply is required (not in kit)
any prefered point where the 5V should be taken?

re question 2.) I just saw +5V and GND are printed on the JT PCB +5V connects to 5,6 on the switches connector. GND goes to both switches' center. output switch is going to 2,4 of the connector; input switch is going to 1,3,7,8,9,10 of the connector. output switch is different type as input switch: - input switch #6D4 with 6 positions: 2 to 2*6 output; - output switch #5I4 with 3 positions: 4 to 4*6. output switch functions: out1, out2 or both. seems ok, just found wiring for position out1+2a, out1+2b in http://www.twistedpearau.../docs/Control_Wiring.pdffinally the loop connector must be jumpered 1-2, 5-6. We picked a transformer to stock that would meet the needs of all of our low-power applications (Kookaburra, TXD, LCPS, JT, Darwin, etc). You can either use one set of secondaries, or wire them in parallel for twice the available current (not really needed, but does not hurt). If you only use one set, you can use the other for some other low power item in your case if you need it.

ok, used one secondary for 12V.
assembled Darwin and JT today, connected all switches and cables and one monoblock for a test.
first I tried without the PIC and checked 5VDC voltage on JT and Darwin which was ok (4.99V ;). I could hear the relais clicking in Darwin when changing the input and output channel switch.
Inserted the PIC and turned the volume pot without any source signal; got a very nice clicking orchestra. liked this sound very much!
powered down,
put the pot handle on ground position to have minimum volume,
inserted PIC,
connected a portable DAT (still working on a table in the garden) to channel 1 and powered up.
turned the pot a bit louder and then turned the input channel switch to find channel 1 (I'd soldered the input select wires in an arbitrary sequence to the switch) - and there was music!
these are great kits! I also like the possibility of the tripple piggy back mount of the two PCBs for JT plus the Darwin PCB; great idea that you also provided these special additional spacers!

soon I will all mount in a cabinet and report about the sound quality.
