I finally finished and fired up my Buffalo32 DAC this morning. It made music but to my great disappointment it had a lot of pops and ticks when music as being played. After experimenting with Fubar2000 for a bit I still got no joy. Finally I vaguely remembered someone posting that you should not twist your digital input lines. I untwisted the SPDIF lines from my BNC input connector and all was well.

Just thought that someone else might go down this same path...
