I have my toslink module hooked up to the same power supply out feeding the vd of my buffalo 24. That side of the power supply gets noticeably more hot than the other that is only feeding va. Is this ok?

As long as everything is functioning correctly, its perfectly normal.

Ok thanks.

It is only R1 and R2 that get pretty hot on that side. The heatsinks stay cool. Just wanted to double check.
