Brian/Russ,
The unit is working fine except for the high pitch noise (a foot away from the board)from the B32 board, What do you guys think the problem is?
I did try to isolate the problem and found out that when I disconnect the VD supply the noise is gone.
All supply terminal were checked and all within the required voltages.

Noise from the DAC itself? That would be very strange since nothing on the board can really move to create sound... I need to more details. Pictures help a lot. Edited by user Saturday, July 11, 2009 9:05:14 PM(UTC)

Brian,
Yes, noise is coming from DAC. This was when the signal input was not connected to the source, the output cable was not connected to the amp. If the supply 5V (VD)is not connected to B32 board there is no noise.
For info, I plug both supply (5VD & 12VA) in a single terminal outlet to the eliminate the possible ground loops.
I can't attach the photo of my setup.

Your analog supply should be +-15VDC from a bipolar power supply. I also do not know what could be causing an audible noise, other than perhaps the relays, but even that does not make sense really.

Found the problem. It's my SMPS for VD . I temporarily replaced it with batteries and the noise was gone.
