Hi Russ and Brian, I plan want to use the Buf32S with both DSD and PCM sources (switched using an OTTO). How is the better way to set the DIP Switch 4 (IIR bandwidth) in this case? In the manual you recommend "high" or "open" for SPDIF/PCM and "low" for DSD. Thanks, Nic

As I did not yet get a reply I assume that there is no perfect solution. I.e. whatever way I set the DIP will be sub-optimal for one or the other signal type. I have a work-around idea so I think I will be able to deal with it. Thanks anyway. Nic

Hi Nic. Sorry I missed this. It was not intentional.
I would set switch 4 low if your using both PCM and DSD.
Cheers! Russ

Hi Russ,
What would be your recommendation switch for #4 if ALL you play is 88.2 or 96KHz PCM?
Thanks, Tom

I would experiment. I have found that personally with 88.2 and above I like switch 4 low. For 44.1 and 48khz PCM definitely leave it high.
Cheers! Russ
