Hi Russ,

I was thinking of using Buffalo32S with Counterpoint IV instead of the on-board one. Is this possible?

Also can Buffalo32S be supplied without the IV stage populated for the testing with external IV designs?

Thanks for your help

No, it would not really work well.

There will be a "Tweaker's" version of the Buffalo32 which you could use the counterpoint with if you like.

Thanks Russ,

Just wondering since Counterpoint is compatible with Buffalo/ess9008 does that mean the output of the new Buffalo32 especially the ess9018 output side has got somewhat different characteristics.

Glad to hear of the Tweaker's version.

Regards,
acko

What are the reasons why the Counterpoint I/V won't work?
