Hi,

I just received the Buffalo III SE Pro board with the 2x Trident 3.3 Volt supply.

From my understanding, the VD is powering both the Trident. I have the following questions.

1) is each Trident powering the left channel and another Trident powering the right channel of the ES9038pro chip ?

2) I am going to remain using all the supplied regulators of the kit. But I would like to have separate VD (5V) to power each Trident separately. Is that possible ?

Alan

Hi,

I have studied the board in more detail. I asked the wrong question above. I am referring to the dual AVCC 3.3V regulator instead of the two 3.3V Trident. Also I figured that I can remove that particular jumper pin marked as 'in' to the AVCC module and then I can connect separate 5V power supply to those two 'in' to achieve separate supply to the left and right AVCC regulator.

That is correct. Make sure you shared grounds.
