Dear Brian and Russ I've built a new Legato board to substitute an old Legato1. I’ve populated the new one only with the Balanced part as shown on the pictured description on the online page. So great sound but I hear a strange scratchy noise moving the volume knob that was absent before. I’m obviously using the balanced out Any possible solution? What kind of volume control are you using?
Nothing comes to mind as an obvious cause.

Dear Brian actually it is a strange behaviour. I have an integrated tube amp Mastersound 220 with a passive Alps volume. It does not compromise the listening since I set a volume level, but with other sources it does not happen.
