Wow! Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like I will be learning something else new! Just ordered a Willem Programmer and will be voraciously searching the 'net for PIC programing info. I gues you have it set up on the Buffalo that the PIC 12F629 handles all of the Sabre commands? That answers my question as to why there is a chip in a socket on the Buffalo board. So yes, if you could provide the firmware, that would be great. I really want to make some progress on this project instead of dragging my feet, so now there is some extra incentive to get something produced.
